Mentorship and Education Program

Supporting children in care by - Provide Tutors for children including those with IEP’s. - Provide Mentors to take foster children to community functions and activities.

With all that a foster child has to process and deal with it is not hard to understand that they may struggle with their education. Many children have been moved from home to home and need additional help to keep up with their education. That is why we are providing help in this area. In addition to tutoring, we offer mentors who can help influence the foster child in a positive way by taking children into the community to help them find a sense of community. Becoming a mentor or tutor for a child in foster care is a great way to make the difference of a lifetime for children in need of permanency. Our goal is to acquire 5 or more volunteers to:
